It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steve Romankewiz (Grand Blanc, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephan Romankewiz and Eula Romankewiz; his sisters, Judy McDaniel and Donna Sees; his siblings-in-law, Betty Goodrich and James Reid; his granddaughters, Emily and Kaley Romankewiz; and his pet Maggie.

He is survived by : his wife Mary (Wright); his sons, Steve Romankewiz (Melissa), Dave Romankewiz (Lauren) and Tom Romankewiz (Alayna); his grandchildren, Madie, Megan and Matthew Romankewiz; his siblings, Rick Romankewiz (Kim), Jeff Lugo (Linda) and Jane Sprague (Mark); his siblings-in-law, Sue Reid and Bob Wright; and his pet Buddy.

The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, October 10th 2023 at 10:30 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10th 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 10th 2023 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Compassus Hospice Care in Grand Blanc or the Alzheimer's Association.
