It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Paul Armstrong of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Crookston, Minnesota, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Armstrong and Alma Armstrong (Magsam); his siblings, Eva Ayers, Doris VeVea and Ronald Armstrong; and his former life partner Bettie Whitener.

He is survived by : his wife Vera Armstrong; his daughters, Kimberly Armstrong of Nashville, TN and Tawnya Armstrong of Bozeman, MT.; his stepsons, Kaja Lill (Angela) of Houston, TX and Nick Lill (Mindy) of Grand Haven; his grandchildren, Dutch Healy, Lucas Lill, Kaja, Jana and Benedikt Lill; his sister Janice Olson; his siblings-in-law, Duane and Jan Armstrong; and also James Healy.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Grand Haven Salvation Army or Harbor Humane Society.
