Though Raymond may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Raymond touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. and Madalene Z. Wiersema, Sr. (Hodge); his wife Jill; and his brothers, John Gillette (Patricia) and James Gillette (Margaret).
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Phipps (David) of Elizabethtown, KY, Carol Jensen (Douglas) of Palmyra, VA and Dr. Janet Wiersema (Cheri Peterson). He is also survived by seven grandchildren in seven states, their seven spouses, and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests. Memorial Contributions be made to First Presbyterian Church or to the Tri-Cities Habitat for Humanity.
