He was predeceased by : his parents, Roger Muilenburg and Shirley Muilenburg; and his brother-in-law Pat Coughlin. He is survived by : his son Mason; his siblings, Shari Raap (Steve), Todd Muilenburg (Mary Ellen), Kurt Muilenburg (Renee) and Beth Coughlin; his nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Heather (Justin), Aaron (Andrea), Garret (Kaila), Nolan (Leanne), Levi, Ellie, Keone, Mandy, Travis, Skylar, Taryn, Chloe, Kaden and Reese; his uncle Dave Muilenburg (Joyce); and his aunt Nancy Harmson.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
