He was predeceased by : his brother Jack; his sister-in-law Wilma Van Dyke; his brother Philip Van Dyke; and his siblings-in-law, James Douglas, Robert and Margaret Bruggema.
He is survived by : his wife Anne; his children, Barbara Watson (Bill), Carol Befus (Ray), David Van Dyke (Lynn), Timothy Van Dyke (Sandy) and Jan Van Bruggen (Cory); his grandchildren, Lisa Henderson (Shaffin), Jared Watson (Amy), Lauren Watson, Michael Befus (Lauren), Laura Gravelle (Matt), Heather Tichelaar (Adam), Kristin Scheider (Matt), Tara Eckert (AJ), Jason Van Dyke (Kellie), Tyler Van Dyke (Brittany), Jacob Van Dyke (Lindsey), Holly Van Dyke, Spencer Van Dyke, Andy Van Bruggen and Mark Van Bruggen; his sister Martha Douglas; and his sister-in-law Joyce Van Dyke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made in care of Vineyard North to be divided among the many worldwide ministries that David supported.
