He is survived by : his wife Dawn; his children, Robert Gilcher, Brian Gilcher (Lois) and Cindy DeRidder (Brian); his brothers, Jim Gilcher (Betty) and John Gilcher (Gina); and his brother-in-law Robert Bennetts. He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
