Gerald Krause Obituary
The memory of Gerald Krause (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on December 8, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Krause and Emma Krause; and his siblings, Janice Gaffney and Roger. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Krause (Val), Stephanie Leach (Sean), Jason Krause and Michael Krause. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (1934 52nd St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
