It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Borst (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on July 30, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Koene A. Brouwer and Jeanette Brouwer (Petersen); her husband Gerry Borst; and her siblings, Ione, Alice, Matilda Brouwer, Calvin, Orrin and Roger Brouwer.

She is survived by: her siblings, Arnold, Carol and Jane; and her children, Steve Borst (Jen Logan), Susan Borst (Mark Zuiderveen), Scott Borst (Jayne) and Mike Borst (Kim). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
