He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Zielinski and Angeline Zielinski (Sytek); his parents-in-law, John and Maxine Plekes (Griffith); his brothers-in-law, Patrick Gorch and William Plekes; and his niece Martha Plekes.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna L. Zielinski (Plekes); his children, Thomas Zielinski and Jennifer Leech (Russel); his grandsons, Dylan and Ian Leech; his siblings, Bernard Zielinski (Debra), Kathleen Gorch and Robert Zielinski (Sandra); and his brother-in-law John Plekes (Jean). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
