He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Pater and Irene Pater (Elmer); his wife Marlene; and his brother Pete Pater. He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Gertrude Holwerda and Pearl VanKuiken. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
