He is survived by: his wife Annie Ereveene Gainey; his children, Angela Jordan (Brent) and Buddy Gainey (Michelle); his grandchildren, Devon Gainey (Ashley), Chelsey Chambers (Tyler), Mason Gainey (Meredith), Haley Herbruck (Cody), Cayman Gainey, Spencer Jordan and Quincy Gainey (Tyler Baker); and his great grandchildren, Declan, Ashton, Kipton Gainey, Harvey Newton Gainey IV, Kinsley and Emery Chambers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gainey Foundation, 6093 Clay Ave. SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49548 which is a nonprofit that operates Two Moose Camp in Montana.
