James Donald Brumels Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2024, at the age of 89, James Donald Brumels (Grand Rapids, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Brumels and Gertrude Brumels (Dekker); and his siblings, Howard Brumels, Betty Van Horn, Esther Diekema and Marjorie Koster.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy Thompson; and his children, Mark Brumels (Pamela), Rebecca Van Wingerden (Joel), Karen Bekins (Richard), Gary Brumels (Jodi), James Brumels (Dawn) and David Brumels (Katie). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren as well as many other relatives.

Memorial donations in memory of Jim may be made to Highland Park Baptist Church Missionary Fund or Gideons International.
