We bid farewell to Jeanette Ruse (Byron Center, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 26, 2024 at the age of 88. Jeanette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her father John Westphal; her daughter Beth Nielsen; her granddaughter Alissa Farrell; her former life partner Roger Alberda; her sister Mary Westphal Grasiewicz; her nephew Darwin Miller; and her niece Mary Gray.

She is survived by : her mother Gertrude Westphal (DuBois); her children, Michael Alberda (April), Gregory Alberda (Judy), Susan Hoogeveen, Brian Alberda (Lorie) and Patricia Farrell; her grandchildren, Nathan Nielsen and McKenna Nielsen; and her great grandchild Bellamy Alberda. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Byron Center Baptist Church (7343 Byron Center Ave SW, Byron Center, MI 49315).
