Johanna Maartense Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Johanna Maartense (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 5, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roel; her son Michael; and her son-in-law Ed Tudor. She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Wilberding (Steven); her granddaughters, Katie and Emma; her son John Maartense (Sarah); her grandchildren, Molly (Rob), Claire, Laura, Isaac, Julia and James; her daughter Lisa Tudor; her grandchildren, Owen, Joey and Charlie; her daughter Pam Maartense; her grandchildren, Caleb, Grace, Micah and Abigail; and her siblings, Case Van Kempen (Sue) and Nella Kosiara. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland or Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary.
