He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Wirth and Hertha Wirth of Hamburg. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Wirth; his sister Monica Kreitz; his adoptive sons, Geoffrey Towner Wirth and Alexander Reed Wirth-Cauchon; and his daughter Stephanie Alexandra Wirth (Mark Rasmussen). He is also survived by granddaughters; two budding teenage grandsons and lastly three adorable great-grandchildren.
