She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Jeakle; her granddaughter Jennifer Jeakle; her granddaughter-in-law Bekah VandenBerg; her parents, Theron Tayler and Bernice Tayler; her sisters, Roxie Booker (Malcolm) and Goatie Thomas (Andy); and her sister-in-law Dorothy Montgomery (Jack).
She is survived by: her sister Georgie Richner (George Solomon); her children, John Jr. "Jerry" Jeakle (Donna), Carolyn DePuydt (Greg), Cat Jeakle, Tom Jeakle (Mary), Anne VandenBerg (Vern), Mary Lynn Jeakle, Jim Jeakle (Sara) and Susy Coulson (Mike); her grandchildren, Matt Jeakle, Christopher DePuydt (Audrey), Michael DePuydt (Grace), Julie Jeakle (Ashley Spoto), Kevin Jeakle (Maureen), Daniel Jeakle (Ivory), David, Andrew, Kimberly VandenBerg, Justin Coulson (Angelina) and Kayleigh Coulson; and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Alika, Keoni, Andy, Audrey, Maddie, Heidi, Gideon, Malakai and Camden. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church (750 Gladstone Dr SE, East Grand Rapids, MI 49506). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
