He was predeceased by: his wife Gretchen Minnhaar; and his siblings, Carlos Tomatis and Bimba Schick. He is survived by: his daughter Gabriela Minnhaar-Tomatis; his son-in-law Ted Vecchio; and his grandsons, Luis Vecchio and Teodoro Vecchio.
