She was predeceased by: her husband James; her parents, Joseph Skorka and Mary Skorka (Zielinski); and her brother Frederick Skorka. She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Czerew (Chris), Kathleen Rosen (Frank), Cynthia Czarniecki (Alastair), Mary Brunette (Leo) and Elizabeth Karsten (David); her grandchildren, Patrick, James, Nicholas Czerew, Amanda Roetman (Alan), Jennifer, Amy Karas, Rebecca Crawford (Michael), Emily Bouma (Phil), Michaela Brown (Chris Vandenberg), Benjamin Brown, Austin Brown (Ian), Maria Zimmerman (William), Jacob Brunette (Debi), Elizabeth Brunette, Rachel Pratt (Andrew), Lisa Brunette, Kaitlyn, Andrew and Madelyn Karsten; and her close friend Harold Jacobus. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift may be made to Holy Spirit Church or St. Bernard's Church in Irons, MI, Mother of Sorrows Secular Franciscan Fraternity.
