We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2021, at the age of 84, Sherlene McKay (Grand Rapids, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Thomas McKay; her son Duane Vander Wood; her stepdaughter Doreen Frelitz; her brothers-in-law, Robert and Roger McKay; her great grandchild Jaden Montcalm; and her stepgrandson Brian Moralez.
She is survived by : her children, David, Deborah Vander Wood, Pam, Todd Bursley, Doug and Sue Vander Wood; her brother Melvin; her sisters-in-law, Connie Vander West and Nancy Dewey; and her stepchildren, Denise, Marty Moralez and Diane Williams. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Salvation Army.
