It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Myers (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Velera Gooch and Everett Gooch; her husband Merlyn "Mert" Myers; and her sister Dorothy Jean "DJ" Virgil. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Myers and Linda Myers of Grand Rapids; her sister Arlene; and her siblings-in-law, Ron Johnson of Albuquerque and Shirley E. Myers of Colorado. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to North End Community Ministry or Feeding America West Michigan.
