He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Zajaczkowski and Helen Zajaczkowski (Broniszko). He is survived by: his daughter Andrea Lee McCune; his grandsons, Shayne, Anthony and James; his sisters, Mary Zarzecki (Chuck), Barbara Ceru (Victor) and Christine Forrest (Jim); and his aunt Ann Zajaczkowski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
