Yvonne Kay Fischer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yvonne Kay Fischer (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Yvonne Kay Fischer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Iris Wickering and Bill Wickering; her son Todd William Fischer; her brother Max; her sister-in-law Vicky Wickering; her nephew Matthew Sampson; her in-laws, Charlie, Sue Fischer, Bob, Donna Fischer, Doris and Leonard VanderLynde; and her grandson-in-law Mike Sanders.
She is survived by: her husband Ron; her children, Bruce and Laura Jewell (Tom); her daughter-in-law Michelle Miller (Rick); her siblings, Ted Wickering and Cass Sampson (David); her sister-in-law Linda Barnes; and her grandchildren, Nathan Fischer (Ryan), Colin Fischer (Liz), Hanah VanderMeulen (Trisha), Elizabeth Roersma (Nick), Erin Nowak (Erik), Jamie Romoslawski (Aaron), Valerie Tyrell (Ryan), Jenna Perry (Ross), Nicole Feenstra (Kurt) and Ryan Fischer (Jess). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reyers North Valley Chapel (2815 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family asks that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
