It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernard Albert Hutchins (Grandville, Michigan), who passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hutchins and Signa Hutchins; and his brothers, Warren (Ann), Donald, Willard, Harold (Evelyn), Roger, Kenneth and Roy (Sharon).
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn "Katy" Hutchins; his siblings, Beverly Larkin, Sarah Archer and Wesley (Mollie); his sisters-in-law, Jordi Hutchins (Bill) and Regina Banaszak; and his uncle Ben. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Grandville United Methodist Church (3140 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ben's honor to the Shriners, Grandville United Methodist Church, or Georgetown Seniors—organizations close to his heart.
