He was predeceased by : his mother Jessie Bursma. He is survived by : his father Fred Bursma; his close friend Marcy; his sons, Tom (Karen), Mike (Laurie) and Dan (Karen); his grandchildren, Matt, Michelle, Emily, Eric, Lance, Gerrit, Kurtis and Caitlin; and his sisters, Annette, Dawn and Harriet Johnson.
