He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Kenneth, Dorothy Butela, Robert and Marge Holtz; and his uncle Doug Holtz.
He is survived by : his parents, Linda Butela (Pickard) and Bill Butela; his stepparents, Jan Butela of Traverse City and Bob Pickard of Byron Center; his brother Jeff; his nephew Collin of Lowell; his stepsisters, Christie and Melanie; his stepmother Becky Butela of Grand Rapids; and also, Emma of Byron Center, Grace of Springfield, Missouri, Hayden and Madison of Milan, Tennessee. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family requests that guest wear masks.
