She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Augustus and Frances Marion Thoms Scholten; her husband Donald Eugene Rinkus; and her siblings, Constance Bawinkel, Marion Kopen, Dorothy Warkenthien, Dr. Walter A. Scholten Jr. and S. Thom Scholten.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Newell (Laurence) of Mexico City, MX, Donald Rinkus (Jayne) of Grandville, MI and Robin Elaine Baker (Gil) of Holland, MI; her grandchildren, Douglas Diekman (Shannon), Anthony (Kim) and Peterson Rinkus; her great grandchildren, Bryce, Colin, Naomi Diekman, Isabella and Giovanna Rinkus; and her brother-in-law LaVerne Bawinkel.
In memory of her, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.
