With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanne Marie O'Leary (Grandville, Michigan), born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 16, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jeanne may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband James A. O'Leary; and her son James O'Leary Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Shawn, Mike O'Leary, Patrick O'Leary (Jan) and Maureen Tuttle (Mike). She is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building) (4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (3937 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville, MI 49418).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Humane Society of West Michigan or the National Kidney Foundation.
