He was predeceased by : his wife Carol; his parents, Chester Locke and Maybelle Locke; his parents-in-law, Glenn and Doris Sweet; his siblings, Chet (Elsie Locke), Charlie (Gene Locke), Ted Locke and Effy; and his brother-in-law Art Slantez.

He is survived by : his daughters, Deb (Wes Batts), Wendy (Brian Ahearne) and Sandy (Joel Mulder); his grandchildren, Rachel Batts and Jack Bouwman; his great grandchildren, Tripp and Maddax; his grandchildren, Kyle and Nita Batts; his great grandchildren, Jace and Hudson; his grandchildren, Justin and Tessa Ahearne; his great grandchildren, MacKenzie, Natalie and Addison; his grandchildren, Crystal Mulder and Tyler Mulder (Sara Nelson); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Locke and Stedman Sweet. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
