She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Cooke and Helene Cooke. She is survived by : her children, James (Wendy) and Karen Dempsey (Russell); her grandchildren, Sarah Kiel George (Stephen), Matthew Metzger (Addie), Ariel Dempsey, Jordan Dempsey and Tyler Dempsey; her great grandchildren, Jhace, Kiely, Harper and Alexandra; and her husband Norman Wilmarth Kiel of Grandville, MI..

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the United Methodist Church of Grandville, The Methodist House, or the Salvation Army.
