She is survived by: her parent Sidney Root; her children, Edwin (Cheryl) and Nancy; her son-in-law Jack Spoelstra (Sally); her siblings-in-law, Gloria Root and Mel Zimmerman; her grandchildren, Michael Spoelstra (Lisa), Andrew Spoelstra (Melissa), Austin Williams (Tara) and Jason Williams (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Hayden, Logan, Kinsey Spoelstra, Alyssa, Alayna and Ayden Williams; Lola Root. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
