He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter E. Waber and Lena Waber (VanHorn); and his siblings, Peter Jr., Robert, Richard, Edward, Don, Winona and Rosemary.

He is survived by: his wife Ingrid; his children, Jeff Waber (Deanna) of Gowen, Craig Waber (Michelle) of Cutlerville and Kristin Waber (Chad Haight) of Greenville; his grandsons, Chad Vess, Justin Waber and Jacob Waber; and his great grandchildren, Grace Vess, Tanner Waber, Colton Waber and Isabella Waber.
