She was predeceased by : her parents, Orion H. Blumberg and Irene B. Blumberg (Scherer); her husband Raymond Broomfield; her siblings, Harold Blumberg and Ruth Finkbeiner; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Broomfield (JoAnn), Harry Broomfield and Anna Belle Williams (Robert).

She is survived by : her children, Marcia Krause of Greenville, Kathy Guild (Roger) of Spring Grove, Illinois and Mike Broomfield (Lorrie) of Crystal; her grandchildren, Tami Saur (Joe), Gary Krause (Stacey), Ginger Weber (Mike), Greg Krause (Tarina), Aubrey Fechalos (Dan), Shaun Guild (Joanna), Shalon Leschman (Don) and Chad Broomfield (Amy); her brothers, Carl Blumberg (Sandy) of Greenville and Roger Blumberg (Barb) of Greenville; and her sister-in-law Pam Broomfield of Greenville. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Kate's name are suggested to Green Acres of Greenville or Corewell Spectrum Hospice.
