He was predeceased by: his stepfather Joseph Fortuna; his sister Virginia Rucker; his nephews, Joseph Swanic and Thomas Swanic; and his grandson Sawyer Gordon.
He is survived by: his sister Frances Karwowski; his children, Susan Mick of Jackson, Michael Mick of Chesterfield Township and Mark Mick (Janet) of Chesterfield Township; and his grandchildren, Justin Mick, Katie Mick and Sloane Gordon.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Scholarship Fund providing educational assistance for children of military families.
