Konstantina Ikonomopoulos Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2025, at the age of 97, Konstantina Ikonomopoulos in Athens, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Konstantina farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Konstantina is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Mallikourtis and Sophia Mallikourtis; her husband Georgios Ikonomopoulos; and her daughter Angeliki Jianis (Joe). She is survived by: her daughter Sophia French (Christopher); her grandchildren, Emmanuel (Mackenzie), Konstantina Jianis, George and Nicole French; and her son-in-law Joe (late Angeliki). She is also survived by her grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (21800 Marter Rd, St Clair Shores, MI 48080). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
