He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Ubbenjans and Helena Ubbenjans; his sister Mary Christensen; his wife Irene Ubbenjans; and his children, Dennis B. Ubbenjans and Denné Funk.

He is survived by: his son Denny.

He was surrounded by family as he was a resident at the Iosco Regional Medical Center in the Alzheimer's wing.
