He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leeroy Clinton and Virginia Jones; his wife Deborah Clinton; his children, Vanessa Aron and Eric Clinton; his sister Jaye Clinton; and his aunt Betty Sue Jones. He was also cherished by his extended family and dear friends.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to Heart and Vascular at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, or to the American Lung Association.
