Steward Van Dyke Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steward Van Dyke of Hamilton, Michigan, who passed away on March 7, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit VanDyke and Johanna VanDyke (Roelofs); his brothers, Howard and Ronald; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda VanDyke, Roger Walters, John Gates and Eugene Owings.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon VanDyke; his children, Tim VanDyke (Kim Scamehorn) and Penny VanDyke (Rob Surina); his sisters, Marcia Bradsell (Ken), Ardith Vander Woude (Craig) and Phyllis Walters; and his parents-in-law, Curlene VanDyke (Granger), Roger Gates (Ruth Ann), Shirley Yoder, Judy Owings and Rick Gates. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stu's honor to the Alzheimer's Association or Kindred Hospice of Grand Rapids.
