He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Braun and Barbara Braun (Nowicki); his siblings, Theresa Messing (Leonard), Ralph Braun (Margaret), Wilfred Braun, Tony Braun, Roman Braun, Norman Braun (Esther) and Harry Braun (Jean); his son-in-law Ken Ford; and his grandson-in-law Jonny Messing.
He is survived by: his spouse Pat; his daughters, Marge Halifax (Ron) of Harbor Beach, Jean Krueger (Mark) of Essexville and Mary Mausolf (Wayne) of Harbor Beach; his grandchildren, Laurie Messing (Stan) of Cass City, Deanna Sutherland (Adam) of Bad Axe, Daryl Ford of Harbor Beach, Sarah Volmering (Doug) of Harbor Beach, Karen Messing of Minden City, Matt Ford of Harbor Beach, Keith Ford of Verona, Stacey Corrigan (Matt) of Freeland, Lindsay Smith (Russell) of Caro, Kyle Krueger (Michelle) of Essexville, Erinn Mausolf (David Aube) of Ubly, Ross Mausolf (Kim) of Freeland and Tyler Mausolf (Chelsea Brown) of Saginaw; his great grandchildren, Kendal Blanchard, Braden Messing, Collin Bingham, Cooper Sutherland, Brent, Olivia, Kason, Kylie Volmering, Griffin, Kennedy, Bristol, Landon Messing, Chris, Zach Corrigan, Riley, Lauren Smith, Delaney, Miles Krueger, Harper Champagne, Ronan Aube, Marshall and Graham Mausolf; his brothers, Ray Braun (Dolores) and Ken Braun; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Murawske.
