He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Joseph Bower and Delilah M. Bower (Jenkins); his parents-in-law, Charles and Jewell Parker (Gerhardt); his son Ralph Paul Bower; his siblings, Dan Bower, Bonnie Kampf (Hurly), Ruth Bower and Vergeline Owen; his sister-in-law Catherine Parker; and his niece Cindy Pegg.

He is survived by : his wife Mary E. Parker of Harrison; his daughters, Lanette Tagliamonte (John) of Harrison and Tammy White (Aaron Cornell) of Idaho; his grandchildren, Joshua Gruno (Destiny), Erik Gruno, Ashley Dawson (James), Aaron White (Clarissa) and Adriana White; his great grandchildren, Gavin Gruno, Jase Gruno, Daniel Gruno, Maci Gruno, Jerzy Gruno, Parker Gruno, Amelia Dawson and Kiana White; his brothers, Gary Bower (Linda) of Mt. Pleasant and Anthony Bower (Pat) of Florida; his brothers-in-law, Chuck Parker (Kathy) of China and Mike Parker (Carolyn) of China, MI; his friend Jerry Stevens (Stephanie) of Harrison; and his close friend Aaron Cornell of Idaho. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
