She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Plew and Marie Plew (Anderson); her husband Ronald D. Swales; her great grandchild Caden Gordon; her sons-in-law, Bob Stone and Rick Rickert; and her siblings-in-law, Marijane Hague, Glen "Skip" Hague and Roger Jamieson.
She is survived by: her children, David Swales (Debbie), Beth Travis (Leroy), Susan Rickert (Terry Griffith), Michael Swales (Janice Murray) and Leann Hanner (John); and her sisters, Mary Jean Holm (Lyle) and Joyce Jamieson. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Springport Cemetery.
