He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl F. Hilts and Myrna Hilts (Adams); and his wife Charlotte Emerick. He is survived by : his stepson Dave Gipson (Patti Morey); his granddaughters, Tara Byce and Nicole Gipson; his sister Penny; and his niece Melanie.
