It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michelle Lynn (Mazure) Batton (Harsens Island, Michigan), who passed away on January 25, 2020, at the age of 52, after a valiant fight against breast cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband, Zane Batton (Harsens Island, Michigan). She is lovingly remembered and survived by her children, Laken (Karolak) White (Chuck), Bruno Batton and Destin Batton (Jennifer Hahn). One adoring Grandson, Caleb Corte. Loving parents, David and Lorraine Mazure. Devoted brother, Dean Mazure (Heather Paulson). Cherished parents-in-law, Robert and Marie Batton. Goddaughter, Nicki Arntz. Best friends, Marsha Chuhran, Shelley Komph and Kirsten Renaud. Loving and loved dogs, Loki and Groot. Amongst a great many other family and friends she was so very cherished by...

Shelley Batton loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She was an amazing Mother and the bestest Grandma ever. Her husband, children and grandson were her whole world. She adored Harsens Island, where she spent the last vibrant years of her life. She believed in love, forgiveness and second (third, fourth and fifth) chances. She loved shopping, photography of her beloved Island home and music. She lived a life of beauty, strength and joy. She was a bright and beautiful beacon of love, humor and unconditional support in this world. Shelley Batton was the "Queen Bee" who loved her people fiercely and patiently. She will never be forgotten and always loved big, big, big much by many.
