He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles and Gray; his wife Nancy; and his pet Frankie. He is survived by : his daughter Adele Lockwood; and his son-in-law Jim Lockwood (Laura Lockwood). He is also survived by many other relatives, friends, and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pierce Cedar Creek Institute for Environmental Education in Hastings, Michigan.
