He is survived by: his wife Enid Adkins; his children, Robert L. Adkins (Elaine) of Temperance, MI, Jeanne Pollock (Michael) of White House, OH, Susan Murphy (James) of Wyoming, MI and Tina Heinrich (David) of Zeeland, MI; and his sister Marian Cowell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
