He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Cochard Walter and Emma Lorena Walter (Haldeman); and his brother James A. Walter. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Smith; his children, Jennifer Parisian (Terry) of DeWitt and Matthew Walter (Jacqueline) of Ann Arbor; his granddaughters, Jenelle and Jocelyn Sellepack; his stepgranddaughter Savannah Parisian; his sister-in-law Trudy Walter of Amenia; his nephew Hans Walter (Sarah) of Shaker Heights; and his aunt Betty Alge of Chardon, Ohio..
