It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Jay Vantatenhove of Holland, Michigan, who passed away on November 1, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin B. Tatenhove and Corrine Van Tatenhove (Scholten); his brother Keith VanTatenhove; and his sibling's children, Rita VanTatenhove and Chris VanTatenhove.
He is survived by: his children, Shayna Smith (Kyle), Chad VanTatenhove (Elisabeth Smith) and Brian VanTatenhove (Chelsey); his grandchildren, Tayla, Kaley Smith, Cole and Kane VanTatenhove; and his siblings, Janice VanTatenhove, Calvin VanTatenhove (Margie), Carole Rietman (Greg), Elaine Sams, Steven VanTatenhove (Marsha), Vern VanTatenhove and Joan Deweerd (Del). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Memorial contributions in Marvin's memory may be made to Hospice of Holland or to the Harbor Humane Society.
