She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Simmons and Caroline Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Calvin Bruursema; her children, Mike Bruursema and Conni Bruursema (Ron Novak); her grandchildren, Samantha, Luke, Kyle and Nathan; and her great grandchild Ava Bruursema. She is also survived by Brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
