He is survived by: his wife Janet Soper; his children, Roger Barrett Jr (Jeannette), Margaret Martlew (Barney), Tim (Cathy) and Amy Sullivan; his grandchildren, Jim, Abby Martlew, Colleen, Sam (Katie), Charlie Sullivan and Mary Baker; his sister Mary Murphy; and his nieces and nephews, Lynn, Tom Murphy, David and Daniel Mackey.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes contributions to be made to McLaren Hospice and Homecare Foundation or The Mayo Clinic.
