She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Payne and Julia Payne (Snow); her daughter-in-law Sharon Pittman; her great grandchild David; and her former husband William Pittman.
She is survived by: her children, Vera Smith, Lawrence Pittman, Ivey Matter (Brian), Julia Zdybel and Douglas Pittman (Theresa); and her sister Gladys Spracklin. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren.
