He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Pearson (Bud) and Esther Pearson (Densmore); his son John Pearson; his brothers, Harold and Earl Pearson; and his siblings-in-law, Alva Pearson and Elton Hoenshell.

He is survived by : his wife Sharon; his daughter Debby Reinhold (John); his grandchildren, Aimie, Alex (Kayleigh Roessler) and Aaron; his son Mitch; his daughter-in-law Debbie Pearson; his granddaughters, Monica and Tanya; his brother Don Pearson (Shirley) of Walkerville; his sisters-in-law, Barb Pearson of Kingsley, Yvonne Hoenshell of Greenville, Laurel Malone (Kevin) of Dearborn and Coral Dutcher of Hesperia; and his great grandchildren, Monroe Pearson-Balavitch and Jaydn Pearson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you remember Gilbert and his generous spirit with a gift to the Gilbert Pearson Memorial Fund at the Fremont United Methodist Church to help the disadvantaged in the community through the United Methodist Church.
